Our home stay in Bhalukhop is around 8 kms from Kalimpong town perched on a hilltop at 5300 feet above sea level with breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjungha and River Teesta meandering below. Here, you can wake up to the call of unknown birds, enjoy picking up plums and strawberries from our farm, take walks through forests and stay in a village still untouched by tourist rush. As of now, we offer 4 double-bedded rooms and 2 single-bedded rooms in our home stay for the guests. Being near to Kalimpong, Bhalukhop is also a choice for tourists who want to escape the chaos of Kalimpong yet enjoy the sightseeing options in day trips like Delo, Lava, Sillery Gaon, Icchey Gaon and the numerous attractions of Kalimpong like Cactus Garden, Durpin Monastery and Golf Course.

The center also promotes the creations of local craftsmen and artisans. The Mangal Dham Mandir spanning an area of two acres, built in 1993, contains the holy Samadhi of their Guruji. In Kalimpong, you can also spot a hidden sanctuary of Rabindranath Tagore – the Gauripur House. Some other noteworthy sightseeing places of Kalimpong are Swiss Dairy and Dharmodaya Vihar.

In the evenings, you can enjoy a barbecue in our sprawling lawn enjoying the stars of the night sky, blinking lights on mountain sides and Mt. Kanchenjungha flooded in moonlight.
How to reach Bhalukhop: The closest railway station from Bhalukkhop is the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and the Siliguri Railway Station. The nearest airport is the Bagdogra Airport. Hired cars are available from both airport and railway stations to Bhalukhop. You can also take a shared taxi to 10th Mile and take a reserve taxi from Taxi Stand to reach our place.

Lodging and Dining facilities at Bhalukhop: Our spacious and clean home stay in Bhalukhop is facilitated with all basic features like hot water arrangements, attached western bathrooms, lawns, sit-out areas, seating arrangements and comfortable beds. Presently, we have 4 double-bedded rooms with attached bathroom in our building. We also have a staying arrangement in our garden-hut where we have 2 single-bedded rooms with a common bathroom. All our rooms share a common veranda with views of Mt. Kanchenjungha and surrounding mountains. Food is essentially homemade and farm fresh and served with lot of care
