Dzongu Home Stay Location

Dzongu Home Saty is a region bounded by Chu River and Teesta River in North Sikkim, India and this village is official reserved for local Lepcha community. This village situated at the border of Kanchenjunga biosphere reserve in Sikkim.

Spectacular view of Mt. Kanchanjangha is visible from each and every room’s window. You can enjoy superb view with a cup of hot tea in your room. How to Reach Dzongu

Dzongu can be reached from Gangtok by car, distance 70 K.M, it will take around 4hrs. But best option would be from Mangan or Mangon. Also you can avail shared jeep to Dzongu from Mangan (after 2 P.M onward).

Nearest railway station is NJP (New Jalpaiguri), distance around 135 kms, well connected with all major cities of the country. Nearest airport is Bagdogra-IXB.

Best Season to Visit Dzongu

Most travelers are prefer Spring time (March to May) and autumn (October to December) to visit Dzongu. Also Dzongu can be visited throughout the year, carry extra woolen clothes, gloves and monkey caps at winter.
