How To Reach

Jhandi can be reached via Lava from NJP station or, better still, via Gorubathan via New Mal Junction. Following the Teesta, beyond the Mahandanda forest through Sevoke and through the Samabeong Tea Estate, one can reach Jhandi within only 1.5 hours.

Nearest rail station is New Mal Junction (Kanchan Kanya Express plies daily from Kolkata, reaches New Mal Junction at 9.30am). Jhandi is 32kms from the station via Gorubathan.

 

Alternatively you can take any train to NJP and travel 87 kms to Jhandi via the Siliguri- Sevok road crossing the Coronation Bridge.
